Good and Bad news!
The good news is....we received information that Aiden's care package made it to China!! We have confirmation that it arrived on Aug. 6th! We are hopeful that he has received it, however we will not know for sure until we meet him. We are still awaiting TA (travel approval)and are hoping to receive that within the next few weeks. The bad news....we were notified today that we were not given the adoption grant from Shoahannah's Hope like we were so desperately praying for! We had applied about 4 months ago and received a "denial" letter in the mail today. The letter simply said that there were more applications than funds and they would be unable to assist us. This was very disappointing but we know God is still in control and is going to provide for us. Please keep us in your prayers!!

Thank you for your comments on my blog. I do appreciate your prayers. And I will be praying about your upcoming adoption. I watched the opening ceremony to the Olympics and was blown away but also thought long and hard about the many people who are persecuted in China and all that has transpired to have the Olympics there. What an amazing culture and history. I've always wanted to travel there. Come Autumn I will be teaching and tutoring Language students in our area and will be working with many of the Chinese students who come to southern England to learn English. I so look forward to it. All the best to you and yours. God is doing a New thing.
Melody, Even though we do not understand our disapointments we do know who is in control. Our human natural tries to figure everything out for ourselves when the truth is.. God wants us to fully trust him. I just know that God is working as you are reading this in this situation. Hang in there. The best is yet to come (until they get to be teenagers) Ha. Love you
