Playtime with Sissy

Don't let this picture fool you....trust me they have their share of squabbles, but occasionally they do get along well! :-)

First Baseball Game

Today was Aiden's first t-ball game. He was so excited!
We were thinking they may cancel the game since the
weather man was calling for a wash out, but the rain held
off:) It was VERY cold though and we were thankful for
the coats, blankets and throws we took!! The game was
simply precious! A field full of 3 and 4 year olds was
quite entertaining to say the least! We are thankful that
Aiden has this opportunity and I'm sure he will enjoy
it even more once it warms up!! Mimi and Papa came
to see Aiden play and he was quite excited about that.
After the game, we all went to Dairy Queen for a yummy
treat! Thanks Papa and Mimi for helping to make Aiden's
day so special!

Aiden's T-Ball

We signed Aiden up to play T-ball this Spring.
We knew he would like it but had no idea just how much!!
His first practice was yesterday and he was nothing but
a HUGE smile the entire time! It was precious! He has
4 boys and 4 girls on this team and they are all 3 or 4 years
old. I have never laughed so hard as I did watching these
little ones "play ball"! Aiden doesn't have his uniform yet
but should get it soon. He thought he was pretty cool though
sporting his new glove and his new cleats:) I LOVE seeing
my little guy so happy!

Our Fort

I remember playing in the woods as a child and
making forts out of sticks, rocks, etc. It made for
some very fond memories of my childhood. One day
last week I came home from work and before I even
took off my shoes, Aiden was asking me to go outside
and play with him. I told him to let me change my
clothes and then I would. Well, together we collected
as many sticks and branches as we could. We have
an abundance of trees in the back yard so finding
"supplies" for our fort was not too difficult. We
used the leg of the swingset as a base and and made
a TP fort. Aiden was so excited!!! LOVE making
memories with my kiddos!

My New Centerpiece

I am so tickled with my Goodwill find today! I came across
this centerpiece for $7! It is missing one of the glass votives
but I'm sure I will be able to find one to replace it. I gave it
a good bath and put in some new candles and ta-dah! It is
just perfect for our table. I just love it when I find something
unique for a cheap price! :)
